I need serious help with micromanagement Posted: 10 Oct 2019 02:39 PM PDT This is the case with campaign and pvp. I'm good at picking the right units for the right occasion and guessing what enemy units I'll need to counter, but as far as actually placing units strategically and managing each group, I'm absolute garbage. What happens is that I spend too long focusing on one group before moving on to the next, which normally results in me ordering a retreat too soon or too late when things get frantic, then forgetting to reinforce units that made it back to hq. Ultimately I wind up generally just playing a support role because I can't skirt around the map as well as my friends can. If y'all can provide some solid tips or resources to improve my micro skills, I'd really appreciate it. [link] [comments] | ||

Best / Most Powerful Victory Strikes? Posted: 10 Oct 2019 10:47 AM PDT I enjoy the end of the match when the losing opponent's bases get walloped with artillery. They seem to vary in damage dealt to the structures, troops, etc. I am curious what is everyone's favorite victory strike, its precise effects, and why you like it. I am particularly interested in which strikes are the most powerful and drain the buildings' health the most, as this would make post-game basekilling that much easier. The best I've found is the British-only "Might of the Airforce" which seems to reliably destroy at least one entire base. Curious about other factions' best. Do you think the Panzer Elite would make a good 3rd axis faction in CoH2? Posted: 10 Oct 2019 08:58 AM PDT They would be similar to the UKF in that their army revolves around a single type of infantry, only this time even more so with more upgrades and more diverse possible roles than them. I know that the OKW already fills the "Expensive but powerful units" niche, but I think we don't have a faction that would focus so much on vehicles, like AT halftracks and tankettes. Why wehrmacht get the short end Posted: 10 Oct 2019 05:38 AM PDT Commandos are an infiltration unit that has high enough damage smg's powerfull grenades. They very easly beat stormtroopers. But at least before the commandos where more expensive. Now they are no longer. Then why the fuck they beat stromtroopers. [link] [comments] | ||
