    AI replacement team member

    Posted: 23 Jul 2020 09:49 PM PDT

It's sucks when someone drops, but I don't know why lelic thought it was a good idea to replace them with hard ai instead of expert. The AI is trash regardless but I think the expert AI would at least give the team a fighting shot.

Thoughts on USF tactical support company after April 2020 patch?

    Posted: 23 Jul 2020 01:53 PM PDT

So I had enough credits left to purchase a few commanders and I was looking to buy the tactical support company commander for USF. I've heard people say that the p47 strafing runs and recon abilities are overpriced and the only reason to play it is for the calliope, but this can be avoided ever since urban assault has come into play with a calliope as well. On top of that the m1919s are available with infantry company as well so I don't know if the commander has any utility left. I'm all ears to suggestions and whether this would be a good buy.

What I would like to see in COH 3

    Posted: 23 Jul 2020 12:47 PM PDT

I would like to see A game that spans 1939-1942. (Invasion of france, and a North Africa campaign, with a few Missions dedicated to the battle of Crete. you'd still play as the allied factions. However this campaign would be focused around new mechanics as well as a display of the actual grittiness of WW2. There would be no hope for you as the player as each successful mission would actually be a loss within the story up until the battle of El Alamein.

I want the studio to show just how terrible the war was, and not give a fuck about feelings. I want to see historical representations of just how horrible the Nazis were.

Next on the list is melee. Coh2 is awesome but I want to see my guys grappling with enemy soldiers and beating them with the stocks of their rifles with pre scripted executions. (Kind of like the first dawn of war)

Now for the fun part, Factions.

    Italians.

    French

    British

    Germans.

    Wait what, no Americans?!?!?!

Now for the expansions don't worry we're getting to the USA.

Yeah that would honestly come later in the form of a pacific fronts expansion and it wouldn't be the U.S Army, just the Marine Corps. It would also add the Japanese. In addition with expansion would come a whole new set of Melee based units and ambush mechanics. Soldiers will now pop out of tunnels and holes. Spike traps can be set and suicidal bombers can run at your soldiers. Even under tanks...

The second expansion should be a Far East expansion which puts you in the shoes of Chinese nationalists. It would highlight the brutality of the Japanese to civilians and soldiers alike. Same with the Chinese as well.

The last expansion would be late war assets for all factions and additional factions in the form of the Russians and US Army. It would also give you a mini campaign which includes a few missions that Has the player liberate concentration camps. Like I said, I want this game to be brutally realistic in its portrayal of the war.

I doubt any of this will happen but a man can dream.

Edit: all factions would be playable in Multiplayer.

    Jager Lights too weak?

    Posted: 23 Jul 2020 11:22 AM PDT

This afternoon with my friend we were doing 2v2s and i was doing goliaths to disrupt a huge USF blob (that happened by the way killed 9 squads) and i had gone a different build not knowing how weak Jager lights are were i only got 2 volks then 2 Jaeger light infantry recon squads. It didn't pan out they were decimated in most combat scenarios i've found them to be more useful as something to draw fire than an actual unit. I've also noticed they have no grenades which is ok but they also have like every box full of abilities and no grenade? Also does there G43 upgrade worth it? because i haven't upgraded it on a single squad but i don't know what it does so :/ seems interesting. Maybe im using them wrong though maybe they are really just scouts and nothing more not meant for combat i dunno. Also anyone with tips for using Goliaths please let me know Because i actually have never used the doctrine before in my life so any tips would be helpful.
