People Who Call in Close Range Inf on Wide Open Maps, Why? Posted: 07 Aug 2020 08:49 PM PDT Don't get me wrong shocks, assault sections, assault engis, etc, are great. However I've noticed a lot of people will just use them on wide open maps where long to medium range combat is king. I just want to know why? 90% of the time they try to cross an open field they won't make it to the enemy if volksgren are on the other side. Am I missing a secret meta? Or do people just think elite inf = good regardless? [link] [comments]

what are some important game mechanics the game doesnt clearly explain? Posted: 07 Aug 2020 02:55 PM PDT i just saw a youtube video that said pinned troops get a 50% buff against incoming fire (makes them 50% less likely to get by bullets)... AND it said that this buff vanishes 10 seconds after the pinned status begins... THEN makes it 400% MORE likely to get hit by bullets. if true this seems like a hugely important mechanic that i had no idea was even in the game is there anything else like that hidden away in the game mechanics? Posted: 07 Aug 2020 12:43 PM PDT I'm struggling against MG42s as the USSR and the United States. I always get forced to retreat squads early against them and then am behind in territory. Its even worse late game when they can cover so much of the map. Any tips? [link] [comments]

Posted: 07 Aug 2020 05:49 PM PDT So, how exactly do you get the medal for this mission? i've been to the areas where they are supposed to be but ive found no one. How do you get it? [link] [comments]
You ever feel bad for axis engineer units? Posted: 06 Aug 2020 11:09 PM PDT Everytime I play Wehrmacht and I hear that one pioneer screaming "they're chewing us up!!" I always, ALWAYS, make them retreat. I don't even put that much effort into keeping my Sturmpioneers alive who are much more expensive and useful than pioneers. Feel pioneers always makes me sad killing them when I play allies 😠I don't ever hear any other unit panicking like they do [link] [comments]
r/CoH I am once again asking for your donations. (In advice) Posted: 07 Aug 2020 03:49 AM PDT Shreck blob to murder your tanks, protected by double OPwind to murder your infantry, MG42's in the rear to prevent flanks or advances As Brits or USF how to counter this? No MGs btw bc their commander had the fragmentation bomb and it kept getting my MG crew. I narrowly won a match against this by counter spamming rangers and got lucky with a Pershing Jackson combo. But I think that was more luck than anything. I'll probably never risk another Pershing dive with how expensive they are. Was way too sweaty to try that again [link] [comments]
