| Borrowing equipment as the Brits Posted: 20 Jan 2021 12:21 PM PST I have a question that is based in Coh1. So as the British should I be capturing the lost weapons from the Germans, like MG42s and their Mortars whenever possible? It probally sounds like a silly question, but I mean it in the sense is it even better to do it as the Brits than the Americans? Mainly cause a upgraded lieutenant gives a accuracy bonus to nearby infantry teams. (around 30% I believe) I dont think I need to say that a large accuracy bonus on a MG team or Mortar Team is really nice, or is it just not worth spending the manpower to capture the weapons and I should just focus on my emplacments instead? Like you just have squads constantly retreating on loop and you can spawn whatever squad you want with no grenade CD or muni and practice til you get the timing right. The button goes back to ''play'' and that's it. I tried reinstalling the game and steam as well, tried launching it from the desktop shortcut, restarting my computer, verifying the integrity of the files and nothing works... [link] [comments] | ||
| COH2 British CQC squads issue. Posted: 20 Jan 2021 08:50 PM PST I have a issue with equipment for my Engineers, Officer and Assault Infantry Section (include Winter beta patch(. They are armed in STENs, that are typical close range SMGs. For Engineers i like to improve them with doctrinal Flamer if possible, but what with rest of the weapon slots? BRENs? PIATs? Nothing? Sadly BREN can't be used during movement like a BAR or MG34, when Flamer are very rare drop from the ground. What did you suggest then? For Engineers BREN can be interesing choice with Veterancy 1 bonus from cover, but what with AIS and Officer? [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 20 Jan 2021 07:06 AM PST The situation i encountered was three squads of soviet riflemen with AT rifles sprinting up against my MG42, P4, two grens with G43 and one Jäger command squad. The Riflemen proceedes to at nade my P4 and destroys it, melt down my grens and jäger command squad so i have to retreat them while his doubble mortars who outrange mine starts hammering my MG42. How would you solve this situation? Perhaps there's some magic way to aquire more fuel and build a Ratte tank? maybe some allied player who never plays axis has a good tactic against this? Anyone?
