Company of Heroes Hotfix - Feb 3rd 2021

20r gaming is hosting its first ever Company of Hero's 2 night today. depending on how many players we get, we will do a public or private game, and we are hoping for a 3v3 or 4v4. Don't feel bad if you are new, as I am happy to teach/help you, and we don't care what level of experience you have. We will be starting around 9:15 p.m. EST, and we would love people to join.

I just unlocked a tiger b at 32cp. Is this supposed to happen?

Basically the title. I was using the feuersturm commander on a 3v3 and once i got to 32cp an ability to deploy a tiger b appeared. I never got the chance to see if it would deploy, i didnt have enougb fuel. This happen to anyone else?

OKW struggles... vs SOVIET

OKW vs SOVIET is tough...

OKW lacks blob control (MG gated behind medical truck, comes late);
SOVIET MG... pick-up & reposition ridiculously fast; 1-2 MG's lock down huge areas for a long time before any counter or attempted displacement can take place (but then it is too late).
Zero (and I mean ZERO) hard counter to SHOCK TROOPS in early game (or even mid-late game if we're honest)... Early game SHOCKS push anywhere on the map they wish and smart players B-LINE for your structure or truck...make way for it to be satchel charged. Recovery not possible at that point.

Halfway competent, aggressive SOVIET players... beat any OKW player, easily. How do you counter SHOCK troops as OKW? Non-doctrinal answers ONLY -- shouldn't be forced or shoe-horned into any single doctrine to counter any one thing.

If CoH3 turns out to be a modern/near future setting, what do you think the factions will be? What would you like to see?

USA and Russia Seem like easy choices. How about China or a European coalition? Maybe a Middle East coalition?

Is coh2 unbalanced?

I see all the time people saying that this faction is unbalanced, elefant is too strong, t34 spam is too strong, etc etc. The only thing i can think off the top of my head that is a little unbalanced is 5man section upgrade before 5 mins. But even then you just counter with 222 or lux. Maybe another example is arty/rocket arty spam in 4v4's.
