    What is your playstyle in team games like with regards to infantry count?

    I know the usual situational jargon but are you more of a support heavy kind of guy so 2 mainline infantry and 2 engis but lots of MGS mortars, arty, tanks or more heavy with the infantry like 3 mainline 2 elite 2 engineers etc.

    Why am I and my friend always losing against other players

    We are lvl 25 and 31 with ca. 30hours. When we play against other players we ALWAYS lose!

    The enemies manage to capture the points and hold them and when we are able to push em away they always come with backup... This is so frustrating

    Hey,

    I am a web developer who wants to add yet another free and open source project to his portfolio. Therefor I decided to start planning out a project for COH2 where you and I can complot strategies. This thread is purely ment to gather suggestions whilst developing!

    A strategy consist of an early game capping order with a direct link to a build order.

    In order to achieve this I will be implementing a system where you can basically add "commands" to a unit, which will allow you to add more things like build sandbags, move to this position etc. The amazing thing about this system is that I can implement a "replayish" feature so you can visually see how it all fits together.

    Game Modes

    I'll be starting with 1v1 and add 2v2 down the road. 3v3/4v4 are out of the scope.

    For developers

    The stack is completely in TypeScript with ReactJS to deal with the client. For the backend I will be using Node(https://kondah.dev/). Kondah is a micro framework created by me which is in it's very early stages; but I'm hoping that his project will mature it.

    As of now I have not made the repository contribution friendly but if there are developers out there who would like to help out then I will gladly fix it.

    how does the cromwell command tank affect other tanks in coh1?

    the wiki lists it increases the fire rate of the firefly. but how does it affect something like... the holy boi (priest) or the shooty boi (vickers lmg carrier) can someone explain? and also.... does the wiki explain the maximum resources that can be gained with 1 point through all the bonuses the British have at their disposal? (i.e improved resource gathering + improved hq trucks, + lieutenant bonus, + other bonuses i forgot) and is their also a mod that allows the us forces to have the skins of the commandos used in the 1st level of the kampf grupen campaign.

    USF counter to mass at guns?

    Was playing 2v2 as usf on wolfheze against wehrmact player and was doing decent till the late game. Guy I was versing had 2x motor halftracks with 3x at guns, stug and brumbar. I am new to usf, still in placement, and usually i would just make katyusha if i was facing something like this. Jacksons did ok but i had no real counter to his at guns. What are you supposed to do in this sort of situation as usf? This game was almost an hour long with top 100 players who knew what they were doing.

    New player to COH 2 - question about camera and map navigation

    Hey guys,

    I recently bought and installed CoH 2 in aim to play in 1v1 PVP.

    I noticed that my biggest struggle right now is camera control and microing units across the map.

    I come from wargame red dragon, where you have a full top-down view of the map and its easier to micro stuff when playing wide. so its very hard me for to adjust to Coh 2 map and battle overlay.

    Its also impossible to use WASD keys to move the map and the arrows keys are not comfortable for this.

    I tried to move around the map by dragging the mouse to the edges of the screen but its very uncomfortable doing this in between ordering units around.

    I saw Helpinghans playing 1v1s and he seems to move around the map and navigate the camera very fluidly but i couldn't figure how he does that (he doesn't move the mouse to the edge of the screen).

    Can you guys share some tips about camera control, map navigation and any other tips regarding microing units across the map or other bits of information that are relevant.
