Posted: 17 Jul 2021 04:20 AM PDT I've heard that the COH 3 would take an inspiration from its great predecessor COH 1. What's your take on COH 3 having it's spawn points reverting back to a more traditional style (spawn by the building) compared to COH 2's fixed off map spawn points? Personally I like COH 2's style for aesthetic and realism purposes, but that's just me. [link] [comments]
AITA for being sad COH2 is dying? Posted: 17 Jul 2021 07:41 PM PDT I know COH3 is a long ways away, but COH2 is basically my favorite game of all time and I am going to really miss it as the player base fades away. I have such great memories of battles on Road to Kharkov and Lorch and Faymonville. The new game looks wonderful, but still mourning the loss. I'm honestly surprised the game/community has lasted so long… testament to the quality of both. [link] [comments]
The dumbest event I've used to get an advantage Posted: 17 Jul 2021 09:54 AM PDT So I main OKW both 1v1ing and with my friends in team matches, and I rarely built kubels because they felt very weak, until recently when I discovered the ability to force players at our level to basically bluescreen if you capture their backline before they do with a kubel+pioneer rush that makes them think you're diving there or something in 2v2s. Since then I started using them to get some cheap map control at all stages of the game when I just want to grab undefended points without sending a valuable infantry unit on the coh2 equivalent of a fetch quest. Through this I pulled off something extremely dumb that I thought was funny. Opponent in a 1v1 was an american, I suspected jeep play because he seemed to feel like he was a rifleman down in the first few minutes, so I alter my opening to squeeze in AT with kubel-volk-volk-rak-volk. We've only had a fuel each off and on due to being on a map with no naturals and two either or player ones, of which we ended up fighting over the same one initially. I see his jeep and it barely catches my 50% hp kubel who had heroicly wiped a mis-micro'd RE squad earlier on the other fuel. Kubel gets decrewed, and then the rak 1 shots the jeep decrewing it as well. And just like that my sturm salvages them both for 14 fuel and I get my medic truck activated about a minute earlier than usual given the off and on contested fuel, which allowed me to finally heal my men without spending muni and squeeze out the mp44s that won me both fuels. It was still a 40+ minute battle but I rode the fuel advantage for a good 5 minutes holding both, and I honestly think turning my 200mp kubel into 7 fuel, as well as the decrewed jeep, made a overall small, but in the moment massive difference in timings. Just curious if anyone else has done this or if there's a known timing difference of getting a kubel out then salvaging for a slight advantage on fuel, which is always critical for OKW to tech and get the first medium [link] [comments]
Posted: 17 Jul 2021 08:12 PM PDT Why most people prefer COH1 so much??? So overwhelmingly COH1 too!!! I don't get it. In my opinion, COH2 is much better in every way. And COH3 went back to the COH1 style. All cartoony.Jesus. [link] [comments]
Question: any way to load previous campaign saves from the main menu? Posted: 17 Jul 2021 10:19 PM PDT Asking as my game glitch during the enemies turn so i alt + f4 it. Unfortunately when i load it it takes me back to the glitched enemies turn. I cant even bring up any menu. [link] [comments]
Am in the right in not playing COH3 until the official release? Posted: 17 Jul 2021 01:06 AM PDT How far up development is the game? How many things is yet subject to change? Am i in the right in wanting to wait for the 'final and finished' experience or is this basically it with minor tweaks down the road? [link] [comments]
Posted: 17 Jul 2021 12:50 PM PDT Been putting myself in hard mode working on my team game USF play. What are your build orders and commanders? What are specific things you look for in enemy tech and or unit composition, what are your responses and what maps do you ban. Thanks guys! [link] [comments]
Bit confused by the campaign map - could someone explain? Posted: 17 Jul 2021 03:02 PM PDT Right, I get if I have a medic unit and fight against an infantry unit or MG emplacement, I'm going to lose but for taking a city - what significance does having a tank unit wield over the medic? It boils down to the starting missions - I don't know where to go, or what units to group together to move around on the map. I can't tell if I'm selling my self short or not. [link] [comments]
Company of Heroes 2 on Windows 11? Posted: 17 Jul 2021 06:40 AM PDT
Posted: 17 Jul 2021 09:16 AM PDT Is there any way to reset the campaign progress in CoH 2 so the game doesn't remember that I have already finished the campaign? I know that you can click on New and it starts the campaign from mission 1 but the game still remembers the missions you completed previously so you can just play whichever mission you want in any order you want. Mod support ( Possibly Blitzkrieg 2?) Posted: 16 Jul 2021 11:32 PM PDT Will COH3 have mod support like COH1, cause I really hope we get blitzkrieg back in this installation. [link] [comments]
Help, I cant login RELIC account Posted: 17 Jul 2021 07:03 AM PDT Yea i really wanna play CoH3 but i cant login my account help pls [link] [comments]

Fix the reflectiveness/lighting/color/shading/brightness of COH3 Posted: 17 Jul 2021 01:44 PM PDT Reflections of models on the lighted side are too bright and shining. The reflections are pure white, which also causes complete loss of detail on the texture because it is all white. For example, look at the way the light shines on the face of a brick building, a helmet, or a tank in COH3. Notice that it is almost fully white? Makes everything look like plastic shiny toys under an interrogation light. The shadowing is way too dark. Textures in the shadows are way way too dark, and almost pure black on some models, losing tons of details and appreciation for the model/texture art. I understand you want Italy and North Africa to be bright and colorful, but this is NOT the way to do it because you are losing graphics and details. Also it is just hard to look at the game and play it and tell what is going on. The lighting is too intense. Maybe try making the game "warmer"? That could help. [link] [comments]
Anybody plan to upgrade for CoH3? Posted: 16 Jul 2021 10:37 PM PDT If so, when do you plan to? I know cards are hard to get right now but if it was possible for you to upgrade when would you? [link] [comments]
Posted: 17 Jul 2021 02:33 PM PDT nothing more realistic and immersive than your 40 ton tank humping a pole at the capping circle! Or 2 tanks one inside another... One would imagine this be fixed in 2021... Thoughts? [link] [comments] |
