Hey guys, can we put the USF riflemen rifle grenade on vet 0?

    Posted: 11 Dec 2019 07:07 PM PST

This really hurts USF late game, specially in team games, where being randomly wiped by 3 Le-random-FH or gang-banged by 5 tigers is a regular occurrence.

Your jacksons might be doing just fine, but if your riflemen get fucked, then opponents have a free pass to dive with panthers. Of course, we could lay min... OH YEAH, USF MINES DON'T PROPERLY SNARE EITHER! Not unless you paid a measly 250 + 50 + 240 = 540 manpower / 35 + 20 + 20 = 75 fuel for a light vehicle that dies in 2 shots to an AT gun.

I doubt this change would upset the game balance in smaller games, while being a big help to USF late game in team games, which is typically seen as underwhelming.

Another option would be to put them in vet 0 REs or officers, or tying them to the weapons rack or grenades upgrade. Snares are a fundamental part of the game, and USF is being handicapped by being denied easy access to them

Opal Blitz Trucks, how do they work?

How do they produce munitions? Do they do it passively or is it only when they are on a capture point?

Comrades, gaze your eyes upon the Sittard Slaughter

Comrades, gaze your eyes upon the Sittard Slaughter

So, a few days ago, I had a gigantic battle on Sittard Summer, I thought I would share it with you all because of the stupid amount of artillery we used to completely obliterate the Germans, like WAY more than is common for chokepoint maps (I used Urban defense, the rest of my time used Tank Hunter, Defensive and Frontline Shock Tactics, which all include their own types of unique artillery).

I made a 3-minute compilation video about this battle (Kindly ignore the lag, the HUD and the lack of in-game sound).

The second biggest killer for me in this battle was a stolen Stuka Zu Fuss Half-Track, killing 54 infantry and destroying one vehicle in multiple barrages, by the end if reached Vet 2 (It was SO close to Vet 3).

However, the #1 biggest killer in this battle was definitely the KV-2, being right at the front of the main bridge, holding position and just blasting away at any vehicles or infantry in range.

    A slightly cheese theoretical idea

    Posted: 11 Dec 2019 03:46 PM PST

I've been using Shock Troops a lot recently, combined with Conscripts. Obviously conscripts have a wonderfully low reinforce cost of 20, while Shock Troops cost 34 (?). In theory, could you keep a conscript squad at your base to merge with retreating Shock troops, and then just reinforce that other squad? not only would it be quicker than waiting for the training time, but after 2 retreats and retraining 5 men for a full squad, it would have more or less paid itself off.

I play 3v3 mostly, so it might not work in smaller games. Am I missing something obvious?

I also think it would be good for USF haha. I loved killing inf with that and leading armor charges.

    Support: Running COH2 on a 49" Screen

    Posted: 11 Dec 2019 09:19 AM PST

    Hi all!

Just got a new screen: Samsung 49" LED LC49RG90SSUXEN

It is a 49" inch widescreen gaming monitor and i'm trying to get the game to scale down in-game.

I manage to get the menus and everything okay with changing resolution and gameplay resolution however when starting a game it still goes full screen which makes it hard to play.

Have someone encountered this before? Or someone knows a solution that would help me get back into the game?

    Coh2 Commanders

Anyone have a list/spreadsheet of all commanders in coh2? Currently don't have the game installed so I can't look it up there. Any assistance would be much appreciated. Thanks!
