    USF builds and tactics for late game 2v2+

    Elephants, arty and Panthers being the real culprits. I just consistently feel like dead weight as USF in team games. I try and support the line the best I can but, late game what an I supposed to use my fuel for when I feel I get nuked for being even slightly out of position. Just looking for what USF should do late game in team games as USF.

    Playing against blobs is so demoralizing

    The moment I see 3 assault grenadiers on one side of the map sprinting around and swarming lone units I just kinda die inside.

    Of course there are ways to deal with them and I soon adjust, but the realization that the game is going to be an infantry meatgrinder and combined arms gameplay will be pretty much nonexistent (because blobbers do not care about things like AT guns or tanks unless it's a single Tiger that gets zoned by 2 ATG or airstriked into oblivion the moment it rushes in without any infantry screen whatsoever) is really disheartening. Constantly dodging sprint -> grenade rain and tiptoeing around the dumb mass of 4-5 squads is just unfun, and there is this constant awkward feeling that you're not playing an RTS but some kind of a freak tower defense game.

    Double points if the blob accidentally cuts your retreat path and wipes a squad is just a soul crusher.

    Rant over, had to pour this one out.

    Does vonivan and baoliang doing some kind of special strategy or something, Jesus Christ they play like ramdom match, They won't buy AT and they keep losing vehicles

    COH 2 has perennially awful 3v3/4v4 balance EVEN for a Relic Game

    People who try the game, casual players and co prefer playing the 3v3-4v4s. It was true now, and its always been true of relic games because those game modes tend to minimize the skill gaps which are gigantic in every coh style rts from relic, including dow 2 and 3.

    The manner in which 3v3/4v4 do this, besides strong players carrying, is that they tend to limit the need for micro-ing different units on different parts of the map, which is incredibly difficult for anyone not experienced in RTS and can be difficult for anyone who is average or below even on coh2. In fact I'd have to say 1v1s and 2v2s, but especially 1v1s are extremely stressful in most relic games and the average punter is unlikely to play them.

    On top of all that 3v3/4v4 is where you can enjoy the really cinematic aspects and big battles which are the most enjoyable part of the game.

    However, what COH2 does just absolutely god awful in comparison to many other similarly styled relic games is the balance. Germans on 3v3 4v4 when played by average players or below can be won pretty easily by just spamming their versatile units. blobs of mg42s/panzershreks, Puma/AC spam in early mid game before allies get tanks, very strong defences/bunkers for their price which help them solidify their lead, sit back with big tanks later on, etc.

    The base allied faction, soviets, being a specialized faction which requires much stronger game mechanics and knowledge in order to beat germans in 3v3 and 4v4 is just dumb. The majority of the new blood to this game comes in to the 3v3 and 4v4, and the reason few of them stick around is because its consistently Terribly unbalanced since coh2 first came out. There was times when one or two allied units would be very overpowered, and bring balance to the force as it was, but whats the fkn point of getting everybody to spam the same faction/unit in every game?

    3v3, 4v4 becoming balanced is whats going to make this game thrive, and stop people like me from uninstalling it after playing 10 games at a time and getting tired of droppers (THERES 1 IN ALMOST EVERY SINGLE GAME WHY CAN'T WE REJOIN?) + terrible balance. The only reason I ever bother to reinstall it is some of my friends are some of the few dedicated veterans still sticking to this game and then I'm like oh wait why did I uninstall this aint so bad until I lose multiple games to dumb spam unless I only play axis. Other players don't have that luxury.

    I know its not impossible to balance 1v1 and 4v4, because relic did it relatively better in Coh1 (both sides had some memey shit for 4v4 which made it balanced in a way) and WAY better in DoW 1 and 2.

    Uninstalled after 8 hours

    Game feels like it is unpolished, full of bugs and glitches, and awkward controls. I was playing campaign and got stuck on mission 8 due to bugs. It's a shame, game had a lot of potential but just feels like it never quite got there.

    Coh2 crashing on match end

    Hey all, this is an issue Ive had for a long while that comes back from time to time. Basically, after a match ends, the game crashes to bugsplat. I have a few ideas as to why this might happen.

    1) I play coh2 on two different computers.

    2) The settings when I click "auto detect" swap between two presets

    3) Skins and other workshop content

    4) Replays.

    I really hope I can fix this without disabling replays, as I like those.

    dp lmg upgrade for penal

    Now, I know this patch soviets are quite strong (might even be OP, what am I saying they are totally OP), But just suggesting, since penals lack versatility of cons and are only meant to do damage would giving em a single dp 28 lmg upgrade for 50/60 munition be that bad (I know they have like +70% acc bonus with vet3 and all). They do lack the fire power of other allied infantry (though i do think 3.3(35)x5 + 11.5(35) dps might be too high, with to the last man that up to 14 which is vet0 ober mg34)
