The missing abilities glitch is killing me Posted: 31 Mar 2020 07:51 PM PDT If you haven't experienced it, it is when you select a unit and the entire actions/abilities section is empty, meaning you can't give them any commands except maybe mouse-related actions. It is supposed to be fixed by selecting a base and then the unit again. Unfortunately, this doesn't always work right away, because it happened to me 3 times in a row with my US Captain. He was getting swarmed and I could not retreat the poor guy. Is it just me or is this glitch becoming more common? I don't recall ever experiencing until the last few months. [link] [comments] | ||
British Royal Engineers heavy engineers upgrade Posted: 31 Mar 2020 10:27 AM PDT i was checking the wiki thing for the royal engineers for coh2 and saw these lines. "Heavy Engineers upgrade: doubles armor and construction rate. It also gives a random squad member a Vickers MG. The increased construction rate stacks with the upgrade giving a 5th squad member, allowing them to build and repair exponentially faster than their base forms. The addition of a Vickers and heavy armor makes them into fairly strong combat units, able to threaten German infantry at every range and withstand return fire for extended periods, with the drawback of moving incredibly slowly in combat. However, heavy engineers become even more deadly when boarding an open-topped halftrack as they can still fire without being slowed down. Tip: When upgrading royal engineers to heavy engineers, the given Vickers LMG does not take up a weapon slot. They may take 2 more special weapons - usually more light machineguns for even more long-range anti infantry." Is the one about the armor actually true? [link] [comments] | ||

We don't want this place to become a name-calling fest about them being a noob or not) Hello folks, So far, the Know Your Unit poll indicates that there are great interests in either Fallschirmjaeger and Grenadier. By the rule of the majority, of course, Falls would be the pick. However, I would like to ask members of CoH community here about how you feel about their performance? Do you think their recent buff makes them overpowered? Cost-efficient? Not worth sweating over? Balanced? The main reason why I ask is because I would like to feature units when they are in a stable state and not prone to being changed in a very near future (which could affect their place in the meta or their dynamics in the game). Falls are listed to have their Faust removed for winter balancing patch (which is understandable and minor enough of a change to proceed with a KYU video). Do you think they will have future nerf on their weapon performance? Recommendations for single-player / comp-stomp mods for CoH2? Posted: 31 Mar 2020 09:12 AM PDT Someone (don't have the username, sorry bro) recently posted about the Advanced Powers mod for CoH2 and I've been having a blast with it since. I've also really enjoyed Spearhead and Wikinger in the past, as well as the Infantry Assault mod. I only play SP or skirmishes with friends, so these mods are a great way to keep the game fresh and play something different. So what else is out there for CoH2 total conversion mods? I used to browse the Workshop pretty frequently but the Advanced Powers mod was news to me, and it makes me wonder what else I'm missing. What would you guys recommend? (And if anyone has any questions about the mods I mentioned, feel free to ask. I know we don't talk about SP content much on this sub, so jump on in! What was I supposed to do here? Posted: 31 Mar 2020 12:36 PM PDT Hey, so I just got utterly destroyed in a 1v1 match, USF vs OST on the angroville map. As soon as the match started, he rushed into the house next to my side of the map with his engie, and then moved an MG42 into the house. Then he just built tons and tons of MG42s and slapped them all across the map, then built a flame halftrack and just ran in and killed me. I tried mortars and smoke barrages, but nothing could dislodge the MG42s. I didn't have the fuel to get a stuart, and I couldn't get to a howitzer in time. It seems like the houses were WAYYYY too strong too, because they took like 25 mortar shells and it only took out a quarter of their health. [link] [comments] | ||
