I have nothing against any of the maps but the game has so many more to offer. Surely with the next patch the balance team could look to bringing in a bit of variety with the map lineup? Why the fuck do Ober LMG squads seem invincible? Posted: 16 Apr 2020 08:45 PM PDT I had 2 vetted up IS squads with double Vicker Gs, it was long-range and the Ober was in light cover, while my IS were also in light cover. The Ober squad was Vet 5 and I took out 3 of its models and it took out 4 of mine (2 for each IS squad) then when it was on one model it TOOK FOREVER TO KILL until he retreated the squad safely when it was literally on like 1 hp, couldn't even kill it. I don't see my nearby infantry getting a buff at all, obersoldaten don't seem to get anything either. Is his description outdated? British Infantry Section Should Have "Volley Fire" Ability. Posted: 16 Apr 2020 04:12 AM PDT Brit IS should have the volley fire ability which could be activated at the cost of 10 to 15 munitions. The Volley fire ability is slightly different than the Rear Eche volley fire. Volley fire -increased rate of fire ( British Enfield rifle was designed in such a way that the soldier could cycle the bolt without taking his finger of the trigger thus he is able to fire more rapidly compared to other rifles like the Kar98 and mosin. Also at the same time without causing the soldier to lose sight of the target) -increased accuracy This will make the british IS when out of cover more viable to wipe retreating squad. Once the 5 man upgrade is unlocked Volley Fire could inflict small suppression on enemy squad. Volley fire will be locked if British IS squad is equipped with a bren gun to prevent overpowering . Historically British infantry Sections does use volley fire against the germans to take advantage of their 10 rounds capacity Lee Enfields and achieve fire superiority. Ability is not applicable to Assault Sections and bren/piat equipped squads. What do you guys think? [link] [comments] | ||

Soviet T1 in 1 vs 1 - how / when to use it? Posted: 16 Apr 2020 09:08 AM PDT Basically, I really like Penals and the car from the T1 building, but passing up on Maxims and a Zis gun makes map control nigh impossible in most games for me. You simply lack the means to suppress infantry or repel armoured assaults (PTRS and sticky satchel is fairly decent early, but starts to get ineffective mid-game). So my question, is what role does the T1 really play and in what situations would you actually use it? Unless you go both T1 and T2 (which is quite an expensive option), when I have to make a choice between the two, it's always T2. n.b. I have also experimented with the commander that has off map MG and AT, but it kinda reduces your late game options and you could have just got the same thing with T2 (albeit with Cons rather than Penals).
