What kind of g43 do Vet Squad Leaders have?

    Posted: 09 May 2020 08:05 PM PDT

I swear its the Pgren Variant, or maybe even better. It fires fast, has highly visible sniper trails, and you can visibly see it taking chunks off of a squad's hp.

Edit: talking about the 60 mun Grenadier Squad leader.

That's some nice AT guns you've got there. Would be a shame if something happened to it

    Panzer thief achievement

    Posted: 09 May 2020 01:32 PM PDT

Working on panzer thief achievement and have spent about 8 hours reloading the game to only watch the tank blow up every time. I have tried using the mg with ammo piercing rounds while buttoning, tried using the pak and the ptrs on the guard squad and every mixture to try and get a capturable tank. Is there an actual way to complete this God awful achievement or a mod that just completes it? Google also deosn't contain any answers just useless info to keep doing what deosn't work.

That guy is a troll and team killer. He finished his thing by putting a lot of mines and making it explode in my HQ. How can I report him? For the story, he has been losing while I was wipping enemy squads and flaming me then he did that lmao.

Questions about AT Tommy Infantry Sections

    Posted: 09 May 2020 02:05 PM PDT

I don't have the Special Weapons Regiment.

I know the squad is 5-man, has Boys AT rifles, and can be upgraded to replace the AT rifles with PIATs.

Does anyone have a pic of their current unit icon? I know the Assault Tommies were changed from a double-chevron to a normal chevron with "SMG" on it (Based off a real-life unit insignia) but when I was playing today it was changed AGAIN to a Chevron with a knife above it (Similar to cav riflemen). AT tommies were probably changed from Chevron with "AT" to something else but does anyone have a pic? (I know quite a few people complained about the original new "SMG/AT" icons were "lazy" )

What is the exact weapon composition of the squad? How many soldiers have AT rifles in the squad?

Does the AT squad still have weapon slots? Can I upgrade them to replace the Boys AT rifles with PIATS with their built in replace-boys-with-piats button, and still pick up more PIATS from weapon racks to turn them into a one-squad PIATblob?

    Highest no-grenade eating streak?

    Posted: 09 May 2020 01:53 PM PDT

    Hi all,

Curious in your practicing how many games you guys were able to go before you finally 'ate' a grenade?

That would be having a grenade go off on a squad you aren't watching and they eat the (nearly) full damage.

The longest I've gone is 3 games (ate one on the 4th) but I'm curious about the better players.

And about how long do you think before you get to the point where you no longer eat grenades, or is that just kind of an unreachable goal? I feel sometimes in the late game so much goes on it happening every few games is unavoidable.

    Any insight appreciated!

    Thanks all! (1v1 only)

edit: rifle grenades over sight blockers from fog of war don't count

Looking for sum nerds to compstomp with.

    Posted: 09 May 2020 04:10 PM PDT

    Hello there!

I am currently forced to play company of heroes on my own. No friends... anymore at least. Last time i had buddies to play this with was years ago but i found that passion again. Not all too serious but im getting the occasional match done every other evening.

What im looking for is ppl that have Blitzkrieg mod, as well as the 300 strong mappack from PHD clan.

I dont enjoy PVP very much because it has the potential to become hostile quickly. Not into that, so compstomping is my way to go.

My playstyle is simplistic and practical. Meaning i horribly fail at micromanaging large fronts manually. What i accell at on the other hand is Spearheading an assault i.E. srtiking surgicly, and preparing an unbreakable "defense in depth".

This is what i suck with:

    Brits.

This is what im moderately good with:

    - WH Blitzkrieg, Terror

    - US Infantry

    - PE Airforce

This is where i kick ass:

    - WH defense

    - PE Scorched, Tank Hunter

    - US Tanks, Airforce

The two i most prefer is WH def for when im not attacking, and PE tank hunter when i am attacking because PE is allowing many possibilities in early game and to constantly put the pressure on if need be.

You can ask for my discord handle via DM =)

    So long!

    Elastic Defense Doctrine (OKW)

    Posted: 09 May 2020 02:50 AM PDT

Hey guys, here's a doctrine suggestion that has mostly defensive units and abilities, but with powerful scouting and some mobility so that you can decide where engagements happen. Here goes!

    0 CP: Sniper

Basically the Ostheer sniper, except with Vet 4 and Vet 5. Buildable at the HQ after buying a truck.

    0 CP: 250 Halftrack

Basically the Ostheer 250 halftrack, this gives OKW the capability to field reinforce as well as an MG that can suppress (when deployed). Buildable at the HQ after a truck is deployed.

    2 CP: Riegel AT Mines

The powerful Riegel AT mine can be deployed by the 250 Halftrack.

    2 CP: Tripwire Flares

Volksgrenadiers, Sturmpioneers and Obersoldaten can construct Tripwire Flares.

    9 CP: Command Panther
