I've been playing a bit with Hull Down and I realized that the two doctrines that have it, Festung Armor and Fortified Armor have 3/5 abilities as exactly the same, which is a bit boring to me. In addition, I noticed you kinda had to carry around a blob of Pioneers in order to make effective use of hull down vehicles. I also thought it would be cool to center a doctrine around Panzergrenadiers, giving them more self-sufficiency in supporting vehicles. In addition, having Hull Down along with Spotting Scopes has insane synergy, which is good for us since we don't have the big toys other doctrines with Hull Down have, i.e., no Elefant, Panzer Tactician or Pak43. Here are my ideas: 0 CP: SdKfz 250 Halftrack 250 Halftracks may be built at the HQ after Battle Phase 1. 3 CP: Panzergrenadier Repair Training: Gives Panzergrenadiers an elite repair ability that repairs rather quickly. Less quick than Heavy Engineers. Unlike the Infantry Doctrine counterpart, this one only has repairs and doesn't require an upgrade, but the repair speed is much better. Panzergrenadiers have a smaller defensive penalty when repairing compared to other units. 5 CP: Hull Down 5 CP: Spotting Scopes These two abilities have great synergy, not leaving much room for larger things. 6 CP: Stuka Strafing Run Another underrepresented ability, the Strafing Run is pretty good. So this whole doctrine is centered around the Hull Down + Spotting Scopes combination. Ostwinds and Panthers can be expected to be very effective in their respective roles, and the availability of this combo means that you can use any vehicle you pick and turn it into a powerful self spotting turret in its designed role. The downside is that, there is no panzer tactician to bail you out, and there is no command panzer IV to reduce damage further, so your vehicles aren't as durable as they are in other Hull Down Doctrines. Early 250 is there to help you make aggressive plays and actually capture where you need to go. It's a nice alternative to 251 that doesn't heal and carries only one squad, but your squad can fire out, and it can hull down to use its MG in a suppressive role. If you don't feel the need for an AT gun you can skip T2 altogether with this. Panzergrenadier repair kit reduces your reliance on Pioneers, which will come helpful in repairing your tanks. They will also be particularly durable when repairing (for a repairing unit), so you may want to risk repairing while under fire sometimes, but don't expect this to protect you much from explosive attacks. And finally, MG17 Strafe is just there so that there is an off-map strike for the doctrine. Use it to destroy AT guns that creep up on your hulled down vehicles. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 01 May 2020 10:39 PM PDT Hello. So i am fairly new to the game. I just started playing online matches about some times ago. But one thing has been bugging me. When i play online matches, my game has been quite frustrating because of some delay. Like for example when i issue an order to a unit, it takes around ~3 seconds for the order to be registered ingame. I don't know what the problem is but i think its not my internet connection because i play pretty much other online games and they run smoothly without any issue. [link] [comments] | ||

Then all of the sudden one of us gets a DEFEATED end match screen and the other is simply disconnected. I'm assuming that this isn't a new thing but just wanted to see if others have had this issue and if there is anything to be done about it since I'm assuming it is just some exploit. Posted: 01 May 2020 07:31 AM PDT Just a small heads-up before I get downvoted into oblivion for this post: I am totally not a racist of all sorts. I just want to point something out in the game that's curious to me. Can someone tell me what's up with this massive surge in asian players? 4/5 times I get paired with or play against one or two Asian players. It would not bother me all that much but most of the time these guys are just plain incompetent. Most of the time they are AFK or drop midway through the game. Their connection is trash, they take ages to load and they don't react for the first five minutes ingame. They also play like garbage. Blobbing like there is no tomorrow and loosing units at a breakneck speed until the can't hold it no longer and get ultimately destroyed. They seemingly don't understand simple game mechanics (ignoring cover, stepping on minefields, rushing vehicles without support, spamming one simple unit, not Building any base structures EXCEPT the heavy tank headquarters ...) at the cost of their units. They never communicate with their teammates and of they do they just curse and yell like autists about fuel points. Some of them are also toxic and racist as fuck. Teamkilling other players when they try to help them out. Am I seriously the only one that has this bad of an experience with these guys? Can we please have the option to block out asian regions from the game. Let them play against eachother without them ruining our Fun. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 01 May 2020 08:18 AM PDT What the hell is going on with constant packet loss and delays not caused by wiFi, it's not just me everyone I know has a game where they just lag for no reason. It creates even funky bugs like surrender votes not even working anymore. Just had a mate whose game just froze up completely do to connection loss, while his internet connection was perfectly fine. Every third game I play now also is in deep shit, when I start the next match the lag is miraculously gone as well. Of course this is anecdotal, I want to know though if anyone else is having the same shit?
