    Getting back into the game and need help.

    I honestly haven't played in a few years and i understand there is generally a build order / meta to the game and it changes every major patch or so. Is there anything that can help me get back into the game? Asking for a build order for every faction seems quite presumptuous and wondering if there was a resource i could look at to help me break back into the game?

    [Rant] I have gotten all the way up to the rank 12 on soviets and still have no idea how to counter mgs

    So let's go over counters 1. Just flank it -Time consuming - you either need to throw in squad for information or use mortar flare so you just lose recourses while enemy gains veterancy on mg and can just reposition -enemy still gonna have his infantry shoot at you while you chase that mg down like an idiot 2. Mortar -doesn't react in time to not get your infantry murdered, can just move away when smokes land, first 1-2 shells hitting not gonna do enough damage and 120mm is extremely slow 3. Clown car and t-70, just hard countered lol, just as armored cars and luchs, no problem 4. Sniper -trading early vehicles for sniper is generally worth it -can fuckin miss static target because it's "out of it's range" which is perfectly good mechanic and im totally not tilting even after a week i rage quitted game because sniper kept missing static mg -requires by far more micromanagement than changing positions with mg 5. Shocks -come out late -1 shock isn't enough to close in without getting pinned and while they are pinned they can be murdered by grenade and mg can change position -g43s 6. Guard+sth + bait squad tactic -unreliable -just place mg in cover lol 7. Zis-3 -No munies -only slightly better than a mortar -at least remains useful late game so that's a plus 8. Katie -You survived long enough for katie to arrive, congrats -now crippling pain from facing mgs turns into a regular one Worst of all soviets also lack in crowd control measures of their own, with maxim being far more vulnerable to bait+blob tactic himself, losing even to unupgraded grens and volks if not in cover, you have to wait until t3 to get first effective counter to blobs

    Can the 64bit version solve Data mismatch errors between Windows and Archlinux?

    I updated to the beta on linux https://s.natalian.org/2020-10-09/five.png 5.x version number and my friend updated his windows too https://s.natalian.org/2020-10-09/four.webp 4.x number.

    He on Windows unable to join the server... so I am I am bit of a loss that we are both are on Steam 64 bit program on Steam but major release different and of course we are unable to figure out how to play cross platform! 🤦
