    I've been a console player my whole life but wanted to get into pc. Naturally I bought a fast paced strategy game. Would greatly appreciate some pointers to help ease my way into company of hero's.

    How to access the British and Panzer Elite on mobile?

    Recently got the game for mobile; I absolutely love it, but I'm not sure if the panzer elite or British are in the game. I don't have a problem spending more money on this masterpiece, but it says that there were "no compromises", so I'd imagine they are in the game... do they have to be unlocked through the campaign? Many thanks.

    AI in skirmish is wierd

    So after I sepnt some time playing skirmish againts AI I found few patterns that AI follows even though it doesn't make sence.

    After few experimets with diffiluclty I ran about 10 skirmishes as Soviet with Soviet AIs againts Ostheer. In all cases the Soviet AI refuzed to build Support Weapon Kampeneya and only built Special Rifle company and Ostheer AI skips Infanterie Kompanie, spams Pioneers and than goes for scout car.

    My question is why AI does this? With Soviets it is somewhat understandable because not allways you need support weapons but I have no idea why Ostheer does this.

    We don't pretend to be good because I'm sure most of you in this sub would play us and think "damn who left the Easy CPU on?". We had a great time playing though and I enjoyed making this. CoH will always be one of my all time favorites. If you like it and think you'd like to see more, let me know! I'll likely be doing more anyway because I'm enjoying it so I hope you're around to watch.

    CoH 1 v2.602 mod won't launch

    Hi, i'm new here

    I have the v2.602 CoH on Steam, I used to play with numbers of mod, but now I can't play the game with mods. I can't even launch my own mod.

    The game will always stop running in background before even the game launch.

    So far, i know several way to launch mod such as;

    the shortcut with -mod <mod name> -dev on target line,

    steam launch options,

    and batch file with following command: cd .. start reliccoh.exe -mod <mod name> -dev

    none of these way works as it used to be.

    I need help so i can play with mods again.

    Help! Game crashes after every mission and I have to restart the mission again.

    I've been doing the same missions over and over again on both the Ardennes campaign and the Soviet campaign for some time now. Every time I complete it, the game crashes and I have to restart all over again. I'm using the Microsoft Store version, please help!

    OST Grenadier buff ideas

    I think this issue can be solved by getting rid of first aid at vet1. From what I can gather there are two critical problems - survivability and DPS being effectively tied to stationary long range. Vet1 can address these points with either Hit the Dirt or Combined Arms

    • Hit the Dirt - Yes, this reduces mobility to zero, but the increased fire rate will make it devastating for infantry crossing open ground to attack the gren or the mg. Coordinate with Pioneers extra vison + flamethrower plus the mg suppression and the result is a solid frontline. The player can choose when to double down on stationary DPS by making the unit a quasi-bunker at the mercy of indirect fire/grenades
    • Combined Arms - this will help Grens against indirect fire and allow them to reposition more effectively against blobs or terminator elites

    It'd be cool to see either one; or maybe add both as mutually exclusive upgrades

    What do you guys think?

    OKW rant & suggestions

    IMO, the OKW fails at being a mechanized fighting force. Their teching and combat feels rigid, lacking options which I feel leads to very limited field presence in the mid-game. It can be too risky to attack during this phase because the FOB arrives too late , is too valuable to not protect since it builds units and you need them alive to keep teching. So you kinda have to sit back until at least a panzer, but now its late game and your frontline hasn't seen enough action to match the enemy's strength.

    I know these changes won't come to pass but I think they would suit the OKW

    • Trucks
      • more expensive but can be called in --> avoids slowing down the assault with its build time . Make mg34 available upon first truck deployment
      • allow stationary truck to reinforce in friendly territory without having to be set down --> sturms cover early heals. This would be a pseudo 251 or M5 but it has no combat capability and trash mobility to offset the benefit. It would be a strong change and imposing but requires a lot more micro so it rewards the skilled. The unskilled/toxic/meme player would likely get overrun and severely punished
      • Units can still be ordered from unset trucks but would spawn at base
      • Players may choose to set their trucks in exchange for more health and the option to purchase upgrades: medics, retreat point, repairs and flak. Setting does not require additional fuel
    • Sturm = overworked & overpriced = crippling for the entire army when he retreats/dies
      • give Volks the option to tech stgs or shrecks (losing snare)
      • replace Sturm schreck with demo upgrade --> timed charge, destroy cover, and heavy vehicle mine
      • Sturm sweeper now grants additional vision - easier to pick engagements in the late game so you don't run in to a pin or blob. It could help volks match allied elites getting more damage on them before your volks get shredded up close
      • Sturm upgrades remain mutually exclusive
    • IR Halftrack
      • able to set max 3 recon beacon --> provides light recon on your flank while the unit focuses on the frontline
    • Faction
      • salvage now grants fuel from vehicles and munitions from dying models

    Just a reimagining. I'd like to hear how you guys use, or would like to use OKW
