    In cheat commands they perform very good, but in actual gameplay they feel horrible. They lack the bite they regular infantry sections and rifleman have and the vickers gun cost a lot but barely does anything. Whats the dps curve for their lee einfelds and vickers guns?

    newish player need help deciding which faction to main

    hello everyone i recently got all the dlcs and looking for a faction to main so far i quite enjoyed ukf and soviets i am mostly like to defend objectives or build defensive lines and send tanks to clear a path for a new defensive line i mostly play victory points because again I'm maining defense can anyone tell me which faction is better for a defensive playstyle ukf or the soviets their advantages and disadvantages and how to play them effectively thanks!

    Tips for the Montebourg/Red Ball Express mission?

    Having a blast so far, but I'm having trouble with this mission. I'm trying to capture positions only to have my base get overrun by the seemingly endless heavy armor and infantry. Any tips? Thanks!

    Churchill Vs Comet:. Are there any realistic changes to make the Churchill worth going for?

    New to CoH2 - Looking for Advice!

    Hey guys,

    I've just started CoH2 a couple of days ago and really liking it so far. The mechanics however seem to be quite a bit different to other strategy games I've played though.

    I would say I'm decent at other RTS's (Diamond League in SC2 / 1600 Elo in AoE2 DE), and so I'm conscious of how important economy / macro / hotkeys / map control are. In CoH2 it looks like positioning, cover and flanking are far more important that the other games though which typically involve more worker harass and economy disruption.

    At the moment I'm trying to figure out if there's a a basic rock/paper/scissors formula for CoH2? To me it it looks like Mortar > HMG > Infantry > Mortar...would that be correct?

    I'm a little lost with the vehicles...light vehicles seem good for quick teching and speed around the map, but seem to be relatively easily countered by lots of units. Medium / Heavy tanks obviously very strong but require a lot of teching and may leave you short on map control and support.

    Then there's commanders...haven't even begun to start to understand all of their abilities yet haha.

    Overall I love the game but just looking for a bit of advice on how to play a bit better and when I should look to start to jump into online games (don't want to be a huge noob for my team mates).

    I've played a few Soviet missions and a few comp games and seem to be able to beat the hard comp consistently to give you guys an idea of my current level. Any advice would be great.

    In search of mod for COH1

    Hi.

    As the title indicated I am searching for a mod for Company of Heroes 1, that best fits these criterias in ordered priority:

    1. Tanks should not make infantry obsolete
    2. Better damage model than vanilla CoH, ie. no infantry units should be capable to just stand still in cover and withstand MG fire or tank fire regardless of veterancy
    3. Better damage model than vanilla CoH, ie. no tankss should be capable to just take 10 shots from AT gun from the front (but not be 1-shot or 2-shot either)
    4. A lot of difference between factions, ie. not all factions should have a MG unit, MG emplacement, MG unit, MG emplacement, AT gun at same power and so on for the sake of 1vs1 pvp balance
    5. Extended zoom

    Random minimization after update

    Just wanted to check, is it just me or is anyone else getting their game randomly minimised? It's not often and usually not a big deal but sometimes this happens in the middle of a fight, resulting in squad wipes while you are frantically trying to get the screen back.

    Rifleman at nade locked behind t1 and t2 instead of veterancy.

    Why? I get usf got their snare earlier then most but locking it behind tech now is such a big screw up for at strats. Ost get their flame trucks and 222s now the only way to take them out early game is combined arms or rng mines. And if you do manage to destroy you've taken so many hits you can't push either. This with all the combine memes ost and ober early game leave usf in a really tough place for anti vehicle capabilities. I wana know other peoples on options and thoughts on this. This has been central to usf strats since day one why change it now?

    Best USF company for defensive playstyle

    As the title suggests, I tend to play USF and I've taken to using a somewhat defensive play style once points are captured, and was wondering if anyone has recommendations as to what commanders may best suit this?
