- [3v3] May have been posted before, but can anyone explain this to me? Red is on the enemy team, why did their army value start out double everyone else's? He was playing OKW. Gave them a significant advantage throughout the game.

[Question] Do Intel bulletins affect Commander Troops? Posted: 25 Jun 2021 09:22 PM PDT Fairly new to the game, and I was wondering if the Intel Bulletins for the Sd.Kfz. 222 Scout car also affects the Sd.Kfz 234 Armored Car? Posted: 26 Jun 2021 05:15 AM PDT I'm curious what everyone else thinks are the "shining beacons" for each army? For example, the Katyusha is obviously superior to the Panzerwerfer, and Walking Stuka - and this ABSOLUTELY becomes more apparent with >2 on the field. With all of the tradeoff's that the Soviets make in comparison to the Axis, it's only fair that the Katy is arguably the best rocket artillery unit in the game. The calliope, and land mattress comes close. But nothing wipes more of my axis infantry than Katy's. Another example. The Pak 38, even by itself, but especially when you have two focusing down an enemy vehicle, is obviously the best AT gun in the game. Absolutely outshines the 37mm, Raketen, 6 pounder. The Zis-3 is definitely comparable, only because of it's poor man's "mortar barrage." What other proprietary units come to mind that are obviously the best of their type? [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 25 Jun 2021 11:00 AM PDT There were all kinds of unknowable (from within the game) calculations going on under the hood of CoH1 to determine which weapons were effective against which unit types and at what distance, which weapons were good while moving, etc. Is the same true of CoH2? Bug: USF troop half tracks lose veterancy when crew gets out Posted: 25 Jun 2021 06:47 AM PDT This is regarding the US half tracks from the mechanized, tactical, and rifle companies. Any time I've used them and bailed out the crew for repairs they have instantly lost any accrued veterancy when they got back inside. It does not seem to matter how much veterancy they had, when they get back in the vehicle they will be back to vet 0. Pretty frustrating bug because the half track's mobility is highly dependent on vet. [link] [comments] | ||
Posted: 25 Jun 2021 08:53 AM PDT Im somewhat new to the game. I started playing when CoH2 was free. I mostly play ostheers because I feel like its easier than soviets. I played a 3v3 match, 3 ostheers vs 1 soviet and 2 brits. The early game was ok but the brits started making mortar towers and flak towers near the victory points making it almost impossible to invade and our panzerwerfers keeps getting killed. It was an annoying match and we lose. Any tips on how to counter British towers? [link] [comments] | ||
