Please please please add NSEW to the minimap in COH3, or, How to improve teamwork and communication. Posted: 06 Aug 2021 09:13 PM PDT Talking in team games it's normal to give directions like 'i'll take the left flank and you go right', or 'top vs bot' etc, BUT this heavily relies on everyone using the same camera orientation. I reckon there's currently a big advantage to being at the bottom of the map fighting upwards because of the default camera angle, and the easiest way to balance is this just by... changing your camera angle if you do so happen to have your base be at the "top" of the map. BUT, in team games changing your camera angle means left, right, top and bottom don't make sense anymore. Ths simplest way to solve this would be adding NSEW markers to the maps compass so no matter where your camera is facing communication is clear. On that note, I also really wish they'd add a 'drawing' feature on the map, similar to the briefings of the coh1 campaign for better team communication. [link] [comments] | ||

All of the guides I found online seemed quite old and outdated. If anyone has either forums they could direct me to or advice on the British that would be great.
