    Assault Engineer spam counter as Wehr

    I'm not here to complain about balance so save your downvotes, I want to know how to counter ass engineer spam. I have been having problems dealing with this as Wehr.

    What happens is the USF player makes 3 ass engis early game to bully my grens and I keep having my lone MG get flanked since he has 3 of them and I can't keep them away with just grens alone.

    I am not a very good player, I cannot deal with the amount of micro required to counter this irritating strategy, all he needs is one good flank to wipe my MG and possible steal it. I have to keep repositioning my MG and also make sure I'm not letting the ass engis get close to my grens, while all he has to do is right click a few times to chase my grens around and find a way to flank me.

    I also keep getting back capped and lose my fuel point as my MG can't be everywhere at once. This snowballs into the USF building a Stuart or a fast sherman and I lose the game. How do I counter this?

    Hey,

    New player here (had the game for years but never played MP. "Veteran", and I use this word loosely, player of the original COH, also never really played MP.), I'm playing as the OKW and I have some issues I seem to not have any answer for.

    I'm not an "average" player by any stretch of the word, by COH2 standards, probably closer to a bad player. This is probably a case of "git gud" or "L2P".

    1. USF rifleman Bazooka Spam -> Not able to build vehicles, or rather, able to build them but not use, since they get killed really fast. Can't kill the due to the fact that I get outnumbered pretty quick. If I do manage to pin them using MGs, they simply retreat and attack somewhere else.

    2. Actually, most of my issues are pretty similar to this one.

    Will update if I come across any other issues.

    Any help is appreciated.

    How to fight Airborne Doctrine pathfinders as OKW?

    My volks gets outDPSed by those things, and theyll just kite my sturms, and i keep getting wrecked whenever i fight those things. How do you effective fight those guys? Obers? Flak HT? and it gets even worse if he spams 3 squad blobs of those like holy hell my units deleted so fast.

    An idea for CoH3

    Usually, any match can be divided into 3 stages:

    Early Game: Mostly infantry engagements, with some "ultralight" vehicles (kubel, scout car, UC, etc.)

    Mid Game: When light vehicles and tanks enter the game (Luchs, M3 Stuart, T70, AEC). Most of the ultralight vehicles then become rather obsolete.

    Late Game: Medium and heavy armor, with some surviving light vehicles.

    Personally I'd like to delay light vehicles further, so that there is an intermediate stage between the early and mid game where halftracks, jeeps, and other really light vehicles can retain their utility for longer (rather than becoming obsolete quickly). This stage would be characterized by mechanized infantry, and most factions will need to employ some sort of vehicle to avoid being pushed off the field. All factions would have additional non doctrinal ultralight vehicle options. We could bring back the motorcycle, kettenkrad, and schwimmwagen from CoH1, maybe make the USF jeep non doctrinal.

    How to call in the Puma from mobile defense doctrine?
