How to use Jaeger infantry doctrine well?

    Posted: 24 Oct 2019 08:08 AM PDT

I recently acquired the Jaeger doctrine because I love my elite infantry, but I am not super good at micro. I mostly play 2v2 or 3v3 against expert AI with my buds so I don't need to be super competitive. Any tips, tricks, strategy or unit placement advice?

    Lieutenant or Captain

    Posted: 24 Oct 2019 04:29 AM PDT

How do i know when to go with Lieutenant or Captain first?
Idk how to put it, like do you guys usually go with lieutenant or captain, after that do you get the other one or go straight to Major? specifically talking about 3v3 and 4v4s but i don't mind USF tips for 2v2s (i don't play 1v1)

I usually go with Lieutenant first because for early light vehicles,
but i'm still confused and looking for a different strategy

Close the pocket had me baffled

    Posted: 24 Oct 2019 11:46 AM PDT

I have 800 hours on this game, mostly play 3v3 and 4v4. So i was playing on map in which you can completely cut of an enemy team with 2 capture points. My army consisted of 3 rifleman, 3 officers, ambulance, 2 RE, 2 calliopes and 2 M36 Jacksons.Somehow they did the impossible and got everything cut off, which I didn't even notice because we were pushing them hard to finish off their king tiger which was 1 hit from dying. Anyway.... Literally before I can even comprehend what is going on, my whole army is reduced to 2 riflemen, mayor, jackson and calliope, everything else melted. It happened in less than a second (AND I'M NOT EXAGGERATING) .

It wasn't just me, more than half of all our armies vanished into oblivion. I had no time to even move my screen, let alone react.....So can you guys give me your take on this ability? I understand it was a terrible missplay to get cut off but I feel it was too punishing.

My team basically surrendered right after, even if we probably coulda rebuild. As I said, this is the first time I got rekt by this, so I'm looking for opinions.
