    Does usf announcer annoy anyone else?

    The 3 other faction announcer keep calm and plainly tell the enemy took a point. The usf announcer always sounds like he's about to have a nervous breakdown which stresses the hell out of me. If there are any tips to turn him off but the game sounds on i'd be happy to hear it.

    I know I know, combined arms, artillery to take out his friends and than go for the kill with what you've got. I'm simply wondering what the best tools to take out the heavy German TDs are in your opinion, but let's assume the guy isn't a total moron who uses it alone in a vacuum

    USF Build Order/Commander Meta for 1v1

    I've been having trouble against OKW in 1v1. Early on they're quite strong with the sturm + Kubel + 4 volks which makes for even engagements although the kubel and the sturm tend to give them quite decent map control. The real problem though comes when they get MG + Schwerer and i usually get zoned out of a fuel/VP at this point since if i ignore that and go somewhere else then they have guaranteed resources while fighting me in another point. If i try to assault the Schwerer with AT's/Mortar's/Stuart that usually means it will take me a while to kill it and it gives away my positioning which lets OKW counter attack me and i put myself at risk while attacking the Schwerer. Once the P4 comes out it starts becoming one sided because of how an area of the map becomes zoned since i can't destroy the schwerer and im battling for the rest of the map's resources while OKW is somewhat secure.

    I'm not sure on what the USF build order is supposed to be considering how the USF works. If i go 3 Rifles + LT > MG > Stuart/M20 then i'm giving up the entire T3 unless i want to spend 35 fuel delaying T4 tanks even more which means i won't be able to get an AT (putting me in trouble against the P4 when it comes out faster than my T4 tanks) unless i get a commander that airdrops an AT.

    If i go LT + CPT, then that means im giving up a light vehicle unless i want to spend another 90 fuel for a stuart or 70 for an AA HT. If i go CPT + AA HT, then that means i'm letting go of an MG which i've began to feel more essential against OKW. It seems like there's a sacrifice to be made for every build order with the USF.

    I've thought about the Mech commander + WC51 (great against sturms) but it doesn't give me a reliable anti infantry/all purpose late game tank like the Pershing or Easy 8 (i struggle a bit with the sherman micro switching weapon modes while microing the rest of the units). Airborn gives good long range fighting/scouting with the LMG Para's + Pathfinders and also allows me to drop team weapons but also lacks the late game tank. For the latter 2 commanders there's also no riflemen field defences which won't let me put down sandbags/mines/fighting positions.

    Rifle company gives me rear's with flamethrowers and late game easy 8 which beats the P4 and is decent anti infantry, basically functions like a T34-85 and easier to micro than the default sherman. Heavy Cavalry gives rangers + the Pershing which is a great late game tank. Both have the riflemen field defences but then i don't know which build order to go with these 2 commanders.

    tldr: Best USF build order/commanders vs OKW in 1v1?

    Company Of Heroes 2 worth it for single-player gameplay?

    Big noob to the series here lol. I was just scrolling through the Xbox game pass on PC and saw the complete edition of the game was on there. So was curious to see from a single-player aspect at least is it worth hopping on?

    im rather new, (only 100 hours) mostly against the ai and only recently started playing pvp. only have 5 commander for the OKW (Breakthrough, Fortifications, Ground Offensive, Luftwaffe and Special Ops). how could i have countered this.

    Countering panzer grenadiers as brits

    I've been having trouble with Brits countering panzer grenadiers spam on open maps( like angoville) is there a build order you would suggest? Note:please no "don't play Brits they suck" I kind of know this, I'm trying to force myself to like them!

    Is there a legit strategy to beating some campaign missions on General (hardest) difficulty without simply save scrubbing?

    Seriously, some of these missions are borderline impossible on General simply due to how many troops the enemy gets. The only way I've been able to beat them in some cases are to save scrub and play parts of the mission over and over until I get it

    THE SAME CHINESE ASS HOLES EVERY GAME GOING 10 KILLS AND 120 DEATHS. QUITTING AFTER 30 MINUTES OF TEAM GRIEFING. LET ME BLOCK THEM FROM BEING MATCHMADE TEAMMATES WITH. ITS NOT A VERY HARD CONCEPT ITS 2021. THE SAME ASS HOLE CHINESE DOING IT EVERY GAME. ESP IF I HAVE CHINESE ON MY TEAM AGAINST A WHOLE TEAM OF CHINESE. LIKE WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS DUMB MATCHMAKING SHIT

    Armour & RNG hold COH potential back

    When dealing with armour, the RNG factor deminishes actually tactical gameplay to one of chance.

    Tanks and AT guns missing their shot is one thing. Having a t34 bounce 3 shots in a row on a engine damage unvetted p4 is bad game design.

    When players engage in tactical combat, the one thing you want most of all is consistency. Seeing a panther land a shot, just for it to bounce off a kv1 is one thing. Seeing the follow up at the same range land at the same area and then pen is absurd.

    Either it pens or not.

    Hopefully by time coh3 comes out there will be more variations of armour thickness on a tank. Or mayhaps having a seperate health bar for armour and hp.

    As it stands, its either a role of the dice, or its irrelevant.

    I'm glad gun crit is being removed though.
