Firstly out of respect for the coming tournament this weekend I recommend we all cool off until Monday. It is everyone's interest to take a break from this and give some room to breathe. Thank you to everyone that has kept this civil and just wants the best for the integrity of competitive CoH, I appreciate none of this including the process has been ideal, but we're all doing the best we can. Many community members have put a lot into analysing the situation and attempting to be unbiased. I had a lengthy talk with Seeking today to talk through new evidence, and give him the heads up also. We discussed the new information, the process, and what would be the fairest way forward. He has agreed to make this conversation public. We will iron out this situation for good next week. The link between him and his uncle Deadbolt, who he previously admitted to playing on the account of in the past and was temp ML banned for boosting in automatch. This is now serious and relevant. Deadbolt has three VAC bans across his dozen or so Steam accounts, the link between these is in the video announcement. It has been shown that Deadbolt played as 'Satup' recently with 100% obvious map hacks. It has also been shown by multiple people analysing the situation the replays in which Seeking is playing on the Deadbolt account, not just game skill but raw actions per minute. Seeking plays at a super high 100-130, Deadbolt at 30-60. This now shows Seeking is the player in clips people were saying it was Deadbolt instead as a defence. Kimbo is no longer suspended and can play in ML events as before. There are now some videos showing the strength of the follow camera tool in replays. | How active is the community for this game? Posted: 12 Mar 2021 01:44 PM PST Aight m'boys the title is self explanatory, I'm wondering just how active this community is online! I'll keep it real I've wanted to play COH ever since I heard about the first one years ago as a wee lad, and unfortunately when I saved up for a hard copy I came to discover that my parents computer wasn't capable of running the game , and so as the years went on I stayed playing console but as of two days ago I finally joined the master race and bought a PC and a damn good one too (according to all my PC gaming friends). It's going to take time for the thing to arrive but I'd love to start playing with any of you who would be down to teach an ABSOLUTE noob how to play not only COH but RTS games in general as that's the next genre of games I'm going to deduct myself to learning and getting good at. I know the point is to play the games to have fun, but I want to be a legitimately competent commander who can meme with the best of them, have plenty of experience with Turn based games though ever since I was a kid(ADVANCE WARS IS GOATED) [link] [comments] | ||

| Why people are toxic to new players Posted: 12 Mar 2021 08:51 AM PST Hi, recently I made a post of what to do as a new player and I have learnt some builds and counters. Since 4v4 is less punishing, I started playing 4v4s. I know I am a noob, I made some mistakes. But, my teammate started making anti tank guns alone and started attack grounding on me. And he called me a traitor and he is doing that for leaving a victory point alone. What can I do? This toxicity is new to me as I have not seen this toxicity in RTS like AoE2. They come from the same commander so I really am not sure if it's a bigger threat to move from the zeroing artillery.
