    What's the most ethical faction?

    I'm not talking about Fascism, Communism etc, I'm talking about which faction and which commander leads to the least loss of life.

    Preferably one that isn't big on landmines or flame weapons.

    Better put, if you were a grunt, which faction/commander would you most likely survive the battle under?

    Proposed change: Sniper Trails consistency on Sniping and non-sniping units

    My proposal is to make the game communicate mechanics a bit more clearly by how it uses Sniper Trails.

    Jaeger Light Infantry have sniper trails on their Sniper rifle, to warn allied players of their sniping mechanic.

    I suggest that the same be true for Pathfinders, to communicate their sniping effect.

    Furthermore, while the sniper trails on non sniping G43's (see also, every non JLI g43) are VERY cool, it's very confusing to players who seem to have all kinds of misconceptions about what units 'snipe' and what units don't.

    This problem is furthered by the fact that the game seemingly randomly gives regular G43's scopes. I went into Cheat Commands mod, and both the Icon and the model for the G43 on some units were the Sniper Icon/model, despite it being the CQC G43 given to all non-JLI units.

    Thoughts?

    Alternately, just make the Icon/Scope model consistent to avoid making G43 Fusi spammers like me upset. I love the sniper trail spam, but at least if non sniping units had a non-scoped G43 Icon and a non-scoped G43 Model, a lot of confusion might me avoided.

    Custom Map bug with units moving randomly when playing 2v2 with a friend (please help)

    Hi guys, I recently have gotten into trying to make custom maps, and and the first 2v2 map i created and intended to play with a friend, i encountered a bug upon us trying it out for the first time.

    He and I are able to start the game, but after we do, neither of us can see each other making new units even though we are still in the game. It's as if there are two separate games running. Also, our units seem to want to move randomly as if the AI is taking control of them for some reason.

    Hello all,

    CoH2 is an esports game for me. I listen to AE (stormless,ed80hz) & Tightrope cast and people like Isildur and Kimbo are champions in my eyes.

    I'd love an interview with them, see what they are like IRL. Would things like that be possible going forward? Maybe interview the champion for a couple minutes, get their thoughts on the matches, what they do for fun IRL?

    The trouble with UKF 1v1:new patch stuff...

    So the big problem with UKF and why they aren't picked at tournements is that they are horse manure in the early game as well as predictable. The only viable 1v1 commander is lend lease, and perhaps a distant second is mobile Assault...

    Are there any thoughts, with what the patch can do , in order to make the UKF competetive and popular at 1v1 tournament level.

    Topfmine for OKW?

    I was reading up on mines and I found this interesting mine the Germans developed called the Topfmine which, seemingly, was totally undetectable by metal minesweepers since it had no metal parts. Interestingly, the Germans used radioactive sand so they could find the mines themselves later. Not sure about the balance implications of having an undetectable mine in COH2. Maybe the cost would be at least double that of a regular mine and of course, it would only be for AT purposes.
