I have been having a lot of trouble dealing with the AssGren + MG42 power combo as soviets because you have close range soviets vs significantly better close range that comes out instantly and MG42 for instasuppression. Posted: 04 May 2021 04:27 PM PDT Can someone help me understand axis artillery. I find that it is probably the main reason I lose units (as opposed to retreating wounded squads) but I really don't know which abilities or units are doing it, is it on map or off map etc. I will get around to playing more AI games as axis (boring) but I also like to have fun and play automatch. Anyway seems to happen most games of 4v4 that go on for a significant amount of time. Especially if it seems allies are winning (meaning more vps and map control) there is suddenly massive artillery spamming that just never seems to end and can one shot 6 man units. What is this? The lefh? lelg? A particular ability that doesn't show smoke? I know its not stukas because they have a very obvious audio cue. Or is it multiple arty doctrine abilities just working sequentially to provide never ending arty? Thanks in advance. [link] [comments] | ||

I recently installed the 'new' version of CoH and tried to play with a friend however, it attempts to boot but closes automatically. I've made sure everything is updated and tried every variation of compatibility, restarted everything, reinstalled and still no success. Has anyone come across this and managed to get their working? Change starting base emplacement in team games Posted: 04 May 2021 02:20 AM PDT Hi all, This is an open letter to the dev to change how the starting emplacements in the base are made in automatch in team games. I play a lot of team games with my brother (3v3 and 4v4). Honestly at least 3/4 of the games we end up with bases on opposite sides of the map. That means we have to basically fight our separate fight each in our corner of the map. That is really NOT the experience we want when we log in together to chill a bit by shelling up nazis/soviets in a 3v3 / 4v4 map. Can that be changed somehow in the game file? The point of playing with a friend is that we can coordinate with each other, and that just can't be done in large maps if we don't start next to each other. Think a map like Steppe, if your starting location is Island-bound, you're not going to be able to help your comrades on the muni. On a slightly different (but related) point, the game seems to always place similar factions together so that if you're a team of 2 SOV/ USF / UKF. We'd ALWAYS start with the 2 soviets together. That's really annoying too because the point of mixing different factions is to be able to combine their forces! What do you guys think? Do you also have the same problem? Posted: 04 May 2021 09:57 AM PDT Just wanted to spark some more dialogue on these two companies in particular. What do you all think about the Rifle changes? Most recent changes in that are the M3 HT and the new E8 ability. In my opinion the company is very strong at the moment in its current form. And Armor? This one I haven't played around with too much. How's the 105mm been performing with the buff to its armor and the new barrage ability? As well as the 240mm tweak, does it needs more tweaking, fine as is now, or perhaps get rid of it? Concerns, gripes, or praises, discuss below! [link] [comments] | ||
Posted: 04 May 2021 02:07 AM PDT I get that it's impossible to completely erase the RNG from the game but sometimes It's just so bad. Some matches can just be lost to Rnjesus not liking you. One my cromwell got 53 kills in like 10 minutes and turned the result of the match and I was very surprised and yesterday I was playing again with a cromwell and we were desperate in tank support because the enemy was doing mg spam. In 20 minutes he got 4 kills with 3 friendly fires ( [link] [comments] |
