Literally one of the most annoying things, is when people talk shit after the win and say EZ. Can we just GG Lol.

    Dealing with Tilt in CoH2

    Posted: 05 May 2021 04:52 PM PDT

I find that CoH2 is a really tilt-prone game. Oftentimes, if I lose control in the early game and get tilted, then it sets off my whole gameplan. I rush points, I blob, I do dumb plays and get squadwiped, I push my armour in and get AT'd. You name it. I'm functioning like on 30% brainpower when I'm mad.

So, I thought I'd ask: what's your best strategies for dealing with tilt in CoH2? How do you avoid it? Any experiences to share with getting un-tilted?

    Option to change Keybindings

    Posted: 05 May 2021 09:07 AM PDT

I find it hard to give an excuse as to why an 8- year old PC game lacks the ability to manually change keybindings, without the use of 3rd party software.

What is Relic doing? This is obviously a feature several people want.

Furthermore, what's the deal with this "Traditional RTS camera control" elitism that's in these threads, trashing people for using WASD for camera control. It's honestly pathetic.

    Best non elite assault

hur dur axis op allies not strong enough lelic makes bad decisions with balance :((((((((((((((((((((((((

    Posted: 05 May 2021 04:51 PM PDT

this is more of a meme than anything but i do have an old post that i keep saved when i see people complain about axis being strong and allies being weak.

as someone below me said, the main reason axis is really strong is because of their ability to comeback. as okw you get access to the raket immediatley, and pgren shreks as wehr. so, if you do lose fuel it isnt as dentrimental. now, if you lose fuel as allies, you could be facing a brumbar at 10 minutes at the worst. and the brumbar just demolishes bazooka sqauds and at guns, so really the only way to deal with them is with a tank destroyer.

honestely, im a sov main and in 4v4s my top 2 picked commanders are airborne(for retreat point, gaurds, and rocket planes) and nkvd(commisar, flame kv2, and at overwatch). facing heavy tank spam in these high rank game modes is so common place nowadays, i always run these 2 commanders. and 9/10 times it works decently good.

i wouldnt say axis are stronger, but they are more easy to learn. as an allied player you pretty much have to learn how to counter mgs, pios, pgrens, 222s, and early vehicles like, right off the bat. compared to an axis player, all you really gotta do is counter rifles, cons, grens, the occasional brit carrier, and the occasional sniper.

you really have to put everything in your kit to use when playing as allies, and you have to really punish the axis when they make mistakes. and sometimes, even when you punish them hard enough, they can still comeback. ive lost track of howmany times ive wiped somebodies entire army, leaving them with like 1 pio squad, only for them to spam out 3 obers and just demolish my elite infantry once they hit vet 2.

as allies, you want to end games fast. anything past 30 mins is risky business.

and then you add in all the variables you get when playing with other people, such as noobies learning, the weird matchmaking system, people spamming and blobbing, and it can seem like axis are indeed OP.

but i would say it is decently balanced. only thing i can think of up the top of my head that is annoying to play against and somewhat unbalanced is someone spamming panthers and obers. but like i said it can be countered.

    Posted: 05 May 2021 04:38 PM PDT

I've started playing again after a long while and i'm noticing something different about map rotation, precisely, i'm getting only 3 or 4 maps again and again. Did something change or i simply need to play more games in order to get more maps because i remember so much maps which i'm just not getting anymore

    Brummbar counter?

    Posted: 05 May 2021 11:53 AM PDT

I specifically am looking at when its got a few AT guns running around behind it everywhere it goes because the obvious idea of killing it with a tank no longer works.
