| CoH2 AMA - For new players and those curious about the game's mechanic Posted: 29 May 2021 02:25 AM PDT Hello folks, since we are having the free-to-keep-forever weekend for CoH2, the number of new players spikes up tremendously. CoH2 is not exactly the easiest game to pick up immediately due to the lack of number indicators and many hidden mechanics. So I would like to offer a CoH2 AMA session for many of the players to throw any questions/concerns about the game across different game modes. Having played many different factions, many different modes, observe many different players, and tested many different scenarios/ mechanic, I believe I have a decent amount of game knowledge to explain the game to new players who wish to know about the game mechanic or those who want to improve certain aspects of their gameplay. But it is just impossible for coh1 to have an online presence though reddit & the rest of the internet basically... Reddit has essentially swallowed up 95% of message boards over the last decade, and because of this it has led to coh1 being abandoned from discussion anywhere online, sadly. True, there is a flair you can use to indicate coh1, but not a subsequent flair for coh2.... effectively indicating this place is coh2 home. The flair doesn't cut it of course. It would have been a smart idea to have created two separate subreddits named /CompanyOfHeroes1 & /CompanyOfHeroes2. Nothing against coh2 and its player base, which includes myself. But it is just impossible for coh1 to have an online presence... and since reddit has essentially swallowed up 95% of message boards over the last decade it has led to coh1 being abandoned from discussion. Of course, coh2 is certainly the newer game (2006 v 2013, I believe) but the coh1 player base is alive and well. 24/7 it seems games are available to be had via multiplayer and ranked too. | Posted: 29 May 2021 03:01 PM PDT Tried playing with a friend on mac last night cause they released that update a while back that made the game cross compatible but it didnt seem to work. When he tried searching for a game on his own he seemed to be the only player online (since it would show 100% axis or allies depending on what he chose). Is he doing something wrong or has Lelic fucked CoH2 again and made cross compatibility impossible again? [link] [comments] | ||

Been climbing the leaderboard ranks pretty steadily recently, but starting to get dragged down by matching with randoms. I do switch factions up from time to time, but kick the most butt with USF airborne. Ideally you're ranked comparably, with lots of hours in game, and an interest in working towards competitive play. | Add required version tags/flairs to this subreddit Posted: 28 May 2021 10:38 PM PDT Hi everyone, I saw someone complaining on why this subreddit is named coh without the version number (1/2), but actually we don't need to make two subreddit to each game, instead we can add required tags like COH1, COH2 and General, and when someone create a post he is forced to choose a version tag, and of course you can filter posts by tag too.
