    I was defending the central VP and didn't notice the uncapped munitions point, and he became toxic because he couldn't build his precious weapons. He then destroyed three of my mortar halftracks because "what a useless army". Then he retreated all his troops back to base. How do I deal with him?

    I lost his name as I didn't save the replay, Had a team mate last night get salty because I didn't cap the fuel before center VP early game, he's pinging constantly and yelling abuse to me…

    I say to him: " you're going to rage quit aren't ya"

    Then suddenly my internet stops working, the game drops out and I lose, I go to play another game, 15 minutes in, again internet drops out. This time I turn on my VPN and it stops happening.

    The next evening I go to play it's happening every 15-20 minutes, he's able to somehow identify my IP and hammer it to the point of disconnection.

    Is there anyway to go back through the logs to identify this dude? Would love to report him

    Intel bulletins should feel consequential.

    Intel bulletins could be a great way to add great changes to the every match or execute a specific playstyle. Right now they feel pretty lackluster featuring mostly 2,3 or 4% of this or that making little material difference to the actual match.

    I feel like I'm not alone in thinking that they're largely inconsequential and not important enough to take seriously. Some bulletins are pretty decent like 10% experience but most make almost no impact on the outcome of any given conflict in the match, let alone who wins. Obviously gameplay and strats/tactics are the most determinant factor but the game by nature has a rock/paper/scissor architecture and the bulletins should really mold some aspects of how the player goes into the match.

    TLDR: make bulletins actually matter, relic.

    EDIT: no i'm not asking for your take on which bulletins are best. I don't care about your bulletin picks.

    How can you counter the OKW's infantry as the British?

    Getting back into the game and want to make the Brits my main, but it seems they kinda just get pummeled by Axis infantry, does anyone have any advice to try and be better?

    How do you counter MG-42 spam in CoH2?

    I am completely new to the company of heroes franchise. A friend of mine who has played the game quite a bit convinced me to get it while it's free and play a few games with him. He said he liked the Germans so I played the soviets. Each game was an absolute wash. All he would do was spam MG-42 squads and no matter what I did the conscript and penal units I sent against him got wiped out. By the 5 minute mark he would securely hold all three capture points and some of my resource points- more or less boxing me into my spawn. I would occasionally send some infantry at him, but this was more or less the in game equivalent of throwing myself against a brick wall- one that was built progressively taller with tanks and artillery. Eventually, these unfun and frustrating rounds ended due to ticket bleed, and I was left with a thoroughly bad taste in my mouth. What can I do to avoid losing another game like this? How do I counter hmg spam?

    How to counter LMG paratrooper as OKW?

    Last game I play as OKW, my 2 panzerfusilier with G43+ one volk stg44 squad, lost by a single squad of LMG paratroopers, both of them are vet 3. I know they are strong, but not this strong lmao. Becuase of that, I basically lose every single infantry counter. Opponent have 2 LMG paratroopers, basically terminators just walks around the map force my infantry to retreat. I tried MG34 but it got killed by LMGs when they are in yellow suppression.... Only thing I can find is tanks, but after I got a p4, he got 2 AT guns follow paratroopers everywhere . I just feel so hopeless as I watch him slowly build his tank army and I can't get more than 1 tank due to my infantry got massacred by paratroopers. Anyone know how to counter this? Try go luchs first? Stuka?Or go high tier infantry like fallshchimagor and obers? cuz later he just select all +attack move, with MG+ AT + paratroopers, and 1 jackson 1 sherman behind it, walked to my front door and I have to surrender.

    Dealing with dug in Allied forces as Axis

    It feels like the allies can really dig in early on if you don't pressure them enough. It also feels like I'm always getting shelled into oblivion as Germany, and I don't quite know how to maintain map control under constant shelling of VPs. Any tips?

    im new to multiplayer always played single player or against bots (case is still the same for the bots i just assumed its because they do every command instantly) so how does this work? and yes i mostly keep my units alive

    multiplayer ai game emplacement issue

    hi! this may sound weird but in those 4v4 against ai games does spamming emplacements at a choke point a bad idea for the team?

    I was building 17pdr, bofors and mortar emplacements and a teammate got mad while there is literally another teammate spamming zis76 and 120 mortars right beside my emplacements. he literally fire ground at those emplacements so I did the same to him and that made him even more angry.

    i am new to this game (and stats wise the angry dude wasn't doing better than I am at the end) so can anyone point out why I shouldnt be doing that? thanks!

    Public game list limited to 40 games?

    Before the free giveaway, my friend and I was able to host a custom game and get a game rather fast. After the free giveaway, we can no longer get people to join us.

    Looking in the public game list, I cannot see my friend's game, and he cannot see mine. It seems that the game list is limited to 40 games, as there are always exactly 40 games in the list for both me and my friend.

    We could of couse just join another game, but we like to play annihilation, and since matchmaking also takes a spot in the game list, there are only a small handfull of annihilation games.

    Hi all I was thinking about a new build order to try against OKW in 1v1. It would be Rifleman, Rifleman, Rifleman, LT, 50Cal, LT upgrade, M20, M20, Weapon rack, 50Cal, Major, Jackson.

    I think the M20s will cause manpower bleed and one of them can mine the important points. These would also give a better vision for enemy movements. In addition, I think this would work better with Airborne commander to give the ability to have AT while M20 is giving the vision. Do you see any flaw in it? Do you have any suggestion to improve it? Feel free to share and I would be happy to hear your comments.

    Is there anyway to reset rank?

    What im referring to is the Rank you are given after 10 matches. Is there anyway you can "reset" it? Or do you just have to manually rank up? I played 4v4 soviets ages ago when I was first starting out so it has horrible winrate and is therefore placed at Rank 2, do i really have to grind it out so it matches my other 4v4 ranks? (Around 9-10)

    Mixed vs Specialized weapon squads

    I was wondering everyone's opinion on this:

    When you're blobbing infantry (yes, I know, but late game 4v4 it's hard not to for micro load reasons), do you prefer to specialize your squads, ala double-brens or double bars, or do you go for a more mixed approach, aka piat + bren or bazooka+bar squads? I see benefits to both: specialist squads let you send only a couple of squads to, let's say, kill a stray tank or attack an unguarded OKW base, or send a few bren sections to clear a contested objective of infantry, but having mixed AI+AT squads means there never truly 100% countered by anything, so you can send those infantry into the cap to clear the enemy infantry out, and if a 222 shows up, they don't just have to immediately flee.

    Obviously there are caveats to this, like UKF engineers being pretty much objectively better with double piats due to their having an AT snare grenade, and getting a non-slot LMG from heavy engineers anyway for some AI power, paratroopers and commandos having bonuses to their respective LMGs, and rangers having their bazooka buff, but I'm interested to know how the wider community builds their late-game infantry loadouts. Do you specialize, or generalize?

    The Mighty Stuart

    Am I the only one having bugs like this in the US campaing? I ran into an invincible tank during a "Tank Grab" mission where the germans would take a tank (a Stuart in this case) and basically put the Ghost Battallion to shame. That little guy was just too angry to die, the health bar was nonexistant but it refused to die; I'm a bit stuck in that one since it won't and the tickers go down with vehicule kills...is a pain

    How to beat mission 3 "help is on the way" on the hardest difficulty?

    Been trying to redo the campaign on the hardest difficulty can't get through this level. I do alright until they start attacking all sides at a time. Plus even when I get my machine guns some of them just run past my conscripts and rifle grenade the machine gun. Then I can't keep track of every side and my conscripts are getting decimated by rifle grenades most of the time getting fully wiped out with a single shot.

    Usually at the start of the 3v3 or 4v4 game I move to the middle of the map, cap the VP, build sandbags, and set up my MG42 and two infantry squads there (or nearby), then set up a mortar behind in cover.

    I'd beat away the first wave of two or three infantry squads, then somehow they'd come back with 5 whole squads, an armored car or a light tank, and at least 3 mortar squads... and then I'll have to retreat.

    Once I retreat and regroup, I have around 5 squads of infantry and once I send them up I'd spot an entire army of AT guns, mortar emplacements, at least 4 squads of infantry, two or three tanks... etc.

    So, how do I survive the initial push?

    Kubel Spam into Falls Spam Counter

    Just got my ass handed to me in a 2v2 Sov(me) and USF vs double OKW.

    My opponent opened with 4 kubels and completely trashed my starting units. I teched at nades and got a squad of guards, but at that point it's like he wanted me to kill the kubels so he could transition into 4 squads of Fallschirmjagers. My T-70 did ok against them, but a raketen was never far behind and he got a super fast P4 out at 12 minutes or something. Any ideas in countering this strat?
